We at Woodlands Court have
built a reputation over the years for providing a friendly, caring, and
homely atmosphere for our residents.
Day to day running of the home is undertaken by Sharon
Woodings our manager together with over 50 staff.
We are located in the
village of Kirton which is a short walk away and has Post office, public House, newsagent, Chemist
and Church.
The
home is set in 3 acres of landscaped gardens around
which are many beautiful old trees.
The
rooms are in 3 separate buildings . .
Oakwood
House, the former manor house, is a two story
building with a 6 person passenger lift. This has
been sympathetically converted to provide 22 Care beds
provided in 4 single rooms and 9 double rooms. The
building has 3 bathrooms and 4 separate toilets, a
hairdressing room, Lounge, dining room and conservatory.
Rosewood Villas is a purpose built system of 12
bungalows consisting of 2 bedrooms sharing a bathroom
and kitchen, together with a communal lounge/dining
area. it provides a total of 24 beds.
Pinewood Lodge is a small 7 bedroom unit converted out
of the old lodge building. The rooms are arranged
as 3 singles and 2 doubles sharing a common
lounge/dining area.
All bedroom are nicely
decorated in a homely style. All have a washbasin,
fire-alarm and emergency call system. Rooms vary
in size with the smallest at 10 sq meters the largest at
20. Some have en-suite facilities.
The Home is registered with the
Commission for Social Care Inspection in Lincoln.
We cater for
the long term needs of the elderly and the less able.
While we place a stronger emphasis on "Home" our
care is of an extremely high standard. We believe in
providing training to all our staff and try to
comply with best current practice.
Our Home is well-furnished, each bedroom is able to have
a television and is fitted with wash hand basin, nurse
call system and fire detector. Several bedrooms also
have en-suite facilities.
